Every driver has gone through an extensive background check, and all drivers are CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation), and First Aid certified – keeping your personal safety our top priority. Short History
Amer Azab founded Black Tiger Transportation on May 22, 2013. Given the opportunity to make a fresh start and do something creative, Amer decided to make a career out of something that had been a hobby of his for years: providing transportation for those in need.
He began by becoming a driver himself, but the demand quickly grew as word of mouth spread and patients came back to use his services. Amer quickly realized he needed to expand to provide his amazing service to more and more patients. He decided to get his nephew, Brandon Zora, a current full-time college student at SDSU studying Business Administration, involved in the business to manage the financials allowing Amer to focus on improving and expanding BTT’s services. They began acquiring more wheelchair vans allowing them to pick up and drop off patients to and from hospitals and long-term care facilities. Even with its tremendous success, BTT remains a small family-owned and –operated business. Superior Service and exceeding the expectations of our clients is our standard.

Black Tiger Transportation works closely with hospitals, insurance providers, long-term care facilities, healthcare networks and managed care organizations to determine how to best serve our clients in need of non-emergency medical transportation. BTT focuses on ensuring that the patient receives high quality service at the most efficient cost.
Our diverse and reliable fleet features non-emergency medical vehicles, wheel-chair accessible vans, and much more. Our fleet consists of 25 ambulatory sedans, 10 wheel-chair accessible vans that can fit up to 3 wheel chairs. All vehicles are 2015 and up and a majority of the cars are hybrid since they are a better choice from an environmental standpoint.
